This privacy policy applies to the Aya Mama mobile application (package name: org.glucorp.app) developed and operated by GluCorp Health Inc. (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This document covers how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use Aya Mama (the “App”) and related services (the “Services”).

Important (for Google Play review): This page explicitly names the App and package name above and lists the legal entity responsible (GluCorp Health Inc.). Ensure your Play Console developer name matches "GluCorp Health Inc." to avoid a mismatch.

1. Information We Collect

  • Personal information: name, email address, phone number, profile details.
  • Health information: blood pressure, blood glucose, hemoglobin levels, fetal movement logs, mother and baby weight, pregnancy-related symptoms and notes that you enter in the App.
  • Device & usage data: device identifiers, IP addresses, crash reports, app analytics.
  • Location data: only if you enable it to find nearby hospitals or emergency services.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and operate health tracking, reminders, and community features.
  • Personalize tips, guidance and notifications.
  • Enable emergency features (for example, SOS/contacts) when you choose to use them.
  • Perform analytics and research with aggregated/anonymized data.
  • Comply with legal, safety, and regulatory obligations.

3. Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

  • With your consent, we may share your health logs with healthcare providers or designated guardians.
  • We share data with service providers (hosting, analytics, messaging) under contract and confidentiality obligations.
  • We may disclose data to legal authorities when required by law to protect safety or comply with a legal process.

4. Data Safety & In-App Disclosures

The App includes in-app disclosures about how certain data is used (for example: location used to find nearby hospitals; emergency contact usage). We follow Google Play’s Data Safety guidance and provide accurate declarations in the Play Console Data Safety form. If we process sensitive data (health data), those processing purposes are reflected both here and in the Play Console Data Safety section.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal and health data for as long as the account is active or as needed to provide Services. If you request deletion, we will erase your personal data within 7 days where possible, except for records we are required to retain (e.g., transaction records for compliance up to 7 years).

7. Security

We use reasonable industry-standard measures to protect your data (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The App is intended for users aged 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such data, we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy; updates will be posted here with a revised "Effective Date". We will note material changes on the App where required.
